I Believe...in Beautifying my Neighborhood

2008 Contest

It is time once again for the City of Wilkes-Barre's annual contest, "I Believe... In Beautifying My Neighborhood". So, Wilkes-Barre residents, with the warmth and beauty of the summer upon us, take out your lawnmowers and shrub trimmers, roll up your sleeves, and show off your hard work to the City of Wilkes-Barre. It is your energy and involvement that makes the city a wonderful place to live, and we'd like to reward you for it!

How to enter:
During the months of July, August, and September, we're encouraging you, our committed citizens, to compete for the "Yard of the Month". In order to join the competition, pick up nomination forms at the Mayor's Office in Wilkes-Barre City Hall or at the Wilkes-Barre Fire Stations. You can also print out a nomination form by clicking the link below. Someone from the city will photograph your house prior to the judging.
