On a daily basis, the DPW department is in charge of the curbside collection of co-mingled recycling, newspapers, cardboard, yard waste, and garbage; the patching of potholes; the placement of various road signs such as handicapped parking signs and one way signs; and the cleaning and grass cutting duties associated with the various City-owned parks and cemeteries. In addition, the DPW department paints driveway lines, fixes curbs and storm drains, and sweeps the streets.

Operation hours for DPW are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Residents can drop of newspaper, cardboard and co-mingle recycling at the garage during normal operating hours. DPW is not accepting yard waste at this time.
