BUREAU OF ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES

The Wilkes-Barre City Health Department's Bureau of Administration and Support Services is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, delivering and assessing public health programs. These programs require specific time-bounded objectives and have evaluation mechanisms in place that gauge their success or failure. The Administration and Support Services Bureau assures that all health department services are delivered in accordance with current standards of public health practice. The bureau is made up of health professionals, in conjunction with the medical director and Board of Health.
